FIBERLIGHT’S RESPONSE AND PROCEDURAL UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS)

Tuesday, March 17, 2020

To our valued Partners and Customers,

With the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities at the forefront of our thoughts, I wanted to reach out and communicate our proactive plans to limit employee and customer exposure while maintaining services and operations as a result of recent COVID-19 developments.

As a trusted network and connectivity partner, FiberLight remains committed to serving our customers. At this time, all FiberLight facilities and services are operational, and FiberLight is taking precautionary measures to ensure its operations continue smoothly. While it is impossible to predict the precise impact this pandemic will have in the communities we serve, we are committed to ensuring that our customers experience the same level of dedicated service they have grown accustomed to receiving. To support this mission, FiberLight has enacted its tested and proven Remote Contingency Plan (“RCP”) for designated employee groups based on individual roles and responsibilities, including our Network Operation Center (“NOC”) employees. Each member of our NOC team is fully equipped with all the hardware and software necessary to perform their duties remotely. The FiberLight NOC will continue to be fully operational with around-the-clock monitoring and support.

In addition to our RCP, FiberLight is committed to taking extra steps to ensure our day-to-day operations continue seamlessly. FiberLight is actively monitoring and aligning its protocol with official guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and communicating regularly with its employees. We have suspended all non-essential work travel and limited on-site work in our offices to strictly designated employees. FiberLight is also promoting the use of remote collaboration tools to reduce the need for in-person communications without disrupting the flow of work. Health and safety in our workplaces are of paramount importance, but furthermore, we understand that the health and safety of our employees extends outside of our offices and into our local communities.

Recognizing that connectivity becomes more valuable than ever during circumstances like these, our field services and construction personnel continue to execute day-to-day installations, maintenance, repairs and construction projects to support enhanced digital capabilities and ensure that communities and businesses can be better prepared for the future.

You have our promise that FiberLight will continue to operate with the same level of dedication and customer support you have come to expect from our company. We value your business and are available to answer any further questions. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us by emailing [email protected] or calling 1-800-672-0181, option 2. Stay healthy, be safe, and know we will always do our absolute best to keep you [virtually] connected during this uncertain time.

Sincerely,

Don MacNeil
Chief Executive Officer
