FiberLight LightSource SONET Services include optical fiber point-to-point and self-healing ring networks that provide you with the flexibility to quickly add network capacity as your needs increase. These services are designed with security and service continuity in mind to provide you with reliable, consistent service.

LightSource SONET Private Line Service

Dedicated SONET Private Line Service provides you with a customized, dedicated point-to-point network for two or more of your locations. The point to point, with bandwidth levels of OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192, or OC-768 will support voice, video and data via DS1 and above interfaces.

This service is available in both full line rate interfaces of OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192 or OC-768, or this service is available with a mux for drops of DS1, DS3, OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, or OC-192.

Dedicated SONET Ring Service

Dedicated SONET ring service provides you with a customized, dedicated self-healing ring network for two or more of your premise and central office locations. The ring, with bandwidth levels of OC-3, OC-12, OC-48, OC-192 or OC-768, will support voice, video, and data via DS1 and above interfaces.

Ring architecture, including sub rings, are designed to provide increased reliability and functionality. Dedicated SONET Ring Service provides Automatic Protection Switching to help ensure 100% availability of the services on the ring.

LightSource Ultra Service

For customers that operate in multiple locations, a high-performance ring network offers important advantages over conventional solutions. FiberLight’s LightSource Ultra provides a reliable, cost-effective solution for your data networking needs. LightSource Ultra is a private network backbone that uses a dedicated high-speed fiber ring to carry all of a customer’s network traffic. LightSource Ultra service accommodates private line, switched and enhanced services to carry local and long distance voice, data and video traffic. This simplifies access to multiple services – helping you save time and money.
