Ethernet LAN Service (E-LAN)

A multipoint-multipoint bridging service designed for connectionless, any-to-any connectivity between your dedicated ports, E-LAN is provisioned over fiber optics between your premises and serving wire center. E-LAN connects subscriber locations at native LAN speeds.

Configured by connecting customer UNIs with one multipoint-to-multipoint EVC or VLAN
Provides full port speed with two CoS options – standard and real time
Ideal for intra-company voice and LAN-to-LAN data applications
VLAN transparency allows you to control your own VLANs and Layer 2 control protocols

Ethernet Private Line

Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL)

An all-fiber optic network service that connects subscriber locations at native LAN speeds, EVPL uses point-to-point Ethernet virtual connections (EVCs) to define site-to-site connections.

Can be configured to support multiple EVCs to enable hub and spoke configuration
Supports a wide variety of EVC bandwidth options so you can incrementally scale bandwidth to meet your growing network requirements
EVCs are offered in 1Mbps increments from 1-10Mbps, 10Mbps increments from 10-100Mbps and 100Mbps increments from 100-1000Mbps, 1000Mbps increments from 1Gbps to 10Gbps
Scalability – allows you to purchase and provision only what you need then scale bandwidth as you network requirements grow

Uses established Ethernet technology and extends access beyond the local area network (LAN) environment into a metropolitan area network (MAN) to provider service edge.

Scalable from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps – more scalable than traditional telco circuits.
Allows you to connect using Multi-Service Ethernet Access, which is built on our metro optical network, to our Internet backbone, National, Metro or Private IP networks
