The Houston network encompasses 37 route miles of Lucent Allwave fiber. It includes two Central Business District rings totaling 5.8 miles and a 32.2 mile expansion backbone. The network connects the Central Business District south to Rice University providing access to the numerous facilities in Houston’s Hospital District. The network then heads west to circle the Houston’s Galleria and shopping district before returning to the north along Westheimer and Allen Parkway back to downtown. The network provides access to 6 Bell Tandem offices and several CO POP’s and Carrier neutral facilities.
