Chief Executive Officer and Founder
Mr. Miller became President of FiberLight, LLC in December of 2000, where he determines the overall direction and vision of the company. In May of 2005 as Chief Executive Officer, he led the successful restructuring of the company’s debt, completed a management buyout of the business and changed the product and direction of the company to meet future fiber demands.
Mr. Miller is a 30-year veteran of the telecommunications industry and was one of the founding members of FiberLight when it was created as ACSI Network Technologies, Inc. in 1998 as the development arm for a competitive local exchange carrier. (CLEC)
Prior to his term with FiberLight, Mr. Miller held many senior level roles. As Director of the Western Area for ITT he successfully positioned the company to take advantage of the break up of AT&T in 1984. As Vice President of Sales, in 1989 he led the charge with National Telephone when the FCC deregulated the public and private pay phone service. Later, as Vice President, he ran the National Account program and Operator Services division for LDDS now known as MCI. In 1992, Mr. Miller became one of the founders of Trescom International which provides undersea cable leases to the U.S. and international carrier market. As its EVP of Sales and Marketing he grew the annual revenue from $8 million to $125 million in two years. Trescom was sold to Primus Corporation. Mr. Miller wrote the sales plan and product descriptions for one of the first CLECs. This plan was adopted to take advantage of the Telecom Act of 1996. With this experience Mr. Miller was hired as the VP/General Manager to run 25 of 38 city markets for e.spire Communications. e.spire Communications later became Xspedius Communications.

Kevin B. Coyne
President & Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Coyne is President and Chief Operating Officer of FiberLight, where he is responsible for the management of all divisions. Prior to assuming this role in January of 2008, Mr. Coyne served in various capacities with FiberLight including COO and CFO.
Under Mr. Coyne’s progressive leadership, FiberLight was restructured from its former existence as ACSI Network Technologies into a leading provider of high bandwidth solutions. Mr. Coyne is recognized by FiberLight’s investors and the telecommunications industry as a thought leader for providing added value through growth of the company’s substantial footprint, expansion of the company’s products and services and diversification of its client base to include high-bandwidth enterprise and government clients in addition to its existing role as a service provider for telecommunication companies. Through careful planning and managed growth Mr. Coyne has kept FiberLight’s debt low while increasing the company’s marketplace reach to the national level.
Before joining ACSI NT in 1998, Kevin was with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and has 10 years in public accounting with a progression of accounting and managerial experiences working with clients such as Nextel and Cendant Corporation.
At the end of 2002, he joined Internap Network Services Corporation as Vice President of Finance where he restructured $25 million of capital leases and participated in a $10 million common pipe transaction.
Mr. Coyne earned a Master of Science degree in Taxation at University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Towson State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Coyne is a board member of COMPTEL, a telecommunications industry organization, and he is a board member of the National Kidney Foundation, Georgia and Alabama chapters.

Ronald Kormos
Chief Development Officer
Mr. Kormos became Chief Development Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering in December 2008 where he handles all operations for the company.
Ron started with FiberLight (formally ACSI, and then Xspedius Fiber Group) in June of 2000 as Vice President of Construction and later became Vice President of Operations. He has over 30 years of experience in the utility construction industry, specializing in fiber optics placing, splicing and testing and more than 20 years in contract management and budgeting.

Chad Pifer
VP & General Counsel
Prior to joining FiberLight, Mr. Pifer served as a corporate attorney for KMC Telecom Holdings, Inc., where he provided leadership in telecommunications and regulatory matters. Before his tenure at KMC, Mr. Pifer served as Southeastern Regulatory Attorney for FairPoint Communications, where he assisted in the entire certification process involved with launching their CLEC division in 2000, and then as Regulatory Counsel & Corporate Attorney for Xspedius Communications, LLC, where he handled the daily legal and regulatory matters and assisted in the acquisition of the e.spire assets from bankruptcy.

Judd Carothers
Senior Vice President of Network Operations & Engineering
Judd Carothers became Vice President of Network Operations and Construction for FiberLight in January 2007, where he is responsible for the daily operations in each of the FiberLight Tier 1 Markets, all new construction, all customer implementation and service installation for FiberLight nationwide, and he’s responsible for responding to and correcting all network and or customer-related issues in each of the FiberLight markets.
Judd joined e.spire Communications in 1997 as Switch Services Manager for the Western Region, responsible for all new customer installatinos in 16 Tier 1 Markets. His team deployed the first e.spire DWDM system, paving the way for a national redesign of the core optical architecture in the e.spire networks. He also headed the team of engineers who implemented an updated customer trouble reporting system for e.spire, resulting in a dramatic reduction in the MTTR across all markets.
Judd joined ACSI Network Technologies (now FiberLight) in 2000 as the Senior Manager of Business and Network Development where he was responsible for network expansion, sales and operational support. Judd has more than 10 years experience in Network Engineering, Telecommunication Operations and Sales and Network Implementation.

Benjamin Edmond
President of Sales and Marketing
Mr. Edmond was named President of Sales and Marketing in 2011 following his promotion to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FiberLight in December 2008, several months after joining the company in March 2008 as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Edmond manages a national carrier and enterprise sales team in 15 metro markets and conducts daily operations in customer and account development and service as well as managing all customer proposals, and pre- and post-sales activities. In addition, Mr. Edmond is responsible for the implementation of all marketing activities as well as new product development including applications, packaging and promotional efforts.
Prior to joining FiberLight, Mr. Edmond owned Telecom Inventory, a consulting firm focusing on services for large enterprises requiring better access and use of telecommunications information. Mr. Edmond’s telecom experience includes eight years experience with FiberLight’s predecessor company, Xspedius Communications (formerly ACSI), where he held several leadership positions. Mr. Edmond has more than 13 years experience in the telecommunications industry with a progression of sales, marketing and managerial experiences. He has a Master of Science degree in Business from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Northeastern University.

Shango Oseitutu
Vice President of Finance
As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Mr. Oseitutu provides leadership and coordination of FiberLight’s accounting and financial strategy including budgets, reporting, capital and investment policies, procurement and risk management. Originally joining ACSI Network Technologies, now FiberLight, as Finance Manager in 1998, he became Director of Finance in 1999. As Director, he led the Finance division, provided financial guidance for the company’s expanded new market growth and developed and managed product-pricing strategy. He has more than 15 years of telecommunications and emerging technologies experience in Finance, Sales and Operations management.
Prior to rejoining FiberLight in 2008, Mr. Oseitutu served as Director of Business Strategy at Autotrader.com and held Sales and Finance management positions at MCI Telecommunications. He holds a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Maryland UC.
