Enterprise Customers


Dark fiber has long been the bastion of wholesale communications providers and carriers. Changes in pricing, equipment and customer sophistication have made dark fiber and related services available to enterprise customers as well. Fortune 1000 customers as well as verticals in finance, health services and security, to name a few, can benefit from dark fiber and related services.

FiberLight can provide dark and lit Metro Ethernet solutions to enterprise customers providing not only the fiber itself but consultative services, engineering and custom construction for access and building entry connectivity. FiberLight will deliver the fiber un-lit to the enterprise user but also has the capability to “light” the fiber for a customer in a private network scenario.

FiberLight’s LightSource product provides varying levels of fiber connectivity for enterprise customers. A customer that has the capability of managing optical equipment internally may opt to simply have FiberLight provide fiber and build out connectivity to the customer’s on-net buildings. However, FiberLight can also provide managed services solutions. FiberLight will help enterprise customers replace leased optical services from a common carrier or ILEC with a “private” network at substantial savings. FiberLight will design and implement the optical equipment necessary to operate a network. At this point, the customer can take over the operation of the network or he may continue to have FiberLight provide ongoing network maintenance and operation.

The resulting private network will reduce cost, enhance control and security as well as provide for flexibility and unrestricted, cost-effective growth in the future.
